Disclaimer
We write a great deal about tax, entities and residency. None of it is advice about your situation, and this page explains the difference — because in this field the difference is the whole thing.

1. No professional advice
Founders 8 LLC is not a law firm, an accounting firm, a tax preparer, a bank, a money transmitter, a broker-dealer or a licensed immigration adviser, and it is not licensed to practise law or accountancy in any jurisdiction.
Nothing on this site, in the app, in our guides, blog or glossary, or in any message from our staff, is legal, tax, accounting, financial or immigration advice. It is general information about how these systems work. Reading it does not create an attorney-client relationship, an accountant-client relationship, or any other professional or fiduciary relationship, and it is not privileged.
2. Who does the regulated work
Regulated work is performed by independent, qualified professionals licensed in the relevant jurisdiction, who contract with you directly:
- Company formation and state filings — licensed formation and registered-agent providers.
- Tax returns and federal filings — licensed CPAs and enrolled agents, who sign what they prepare.
- Residency and visa applications — immigration counsel admitted in the country concerned.
- Banking and payment processing — the institution decides, on its own criteria.
Their advice is theirs. We introduce them, instruct them on your instruction, and keep the record — we do not supervise their professional judgement and we are not responsible for it.
3. General information is not your situation
Tax and immigration outcomes turn on facts we do not know: your citizenship, where you are actually resident, where you physically work, who your customers are, what treaties apply, and what you did in previous years. A guide written for the general case can be exactly wrong for you. Get advice on your own facts before acting.
4. Accuracy and currency
Tax rates, filing thresholds, government fees, processing times and residency rules change, sometimes without notice and sometimes retroactively. We keep our material current and date it, but we do not warrant that any page is accurate or complete on the day you read it, and we are not liable for a decision made on the basis of one.
5. No guarantee of outcome
We do not promise that a company will be formed by a given date, that a bank account or payment processor will be approved, that a residency will be granted, or that a filing will be accepted without query. Those decisions belong to institutions and authorities with their own criteria and their own timelines.
Nothing on this site is a promise of a tax saving. Anyone who guarantees you a tax outcome without knowing your facts is selling you a problem.
6. Not an offer, and not investment advice
Nothing here is an offer or solicitation to buy or sell any security, or a recommendation about any investment. Figures shown in product screenshots and demonstration accounts are illustrative sample data, not real balances, and are marked as such in the app.
7. Third-party links
We link to government sites, partner sites and other references. We do not control them, we are not responsible for what they say, and a link is not an endorsement.
8. How this fits together
This disclaimer forms part of the Terms of Service, and the limits of liability in section 11 of those terms apply to everything on this page.
